For this eleventh floor high rise condo, the team at Kim Décor employed a blend of leather and fabric for a contemporary, yet casual, styling that features a calm color scheme of blue hues that accentuate the soothing beauty of its scenic bay view. Low-profile furnishings from Room and Board offer unobstructed spaces that allow natural light to illuminate each room with additional radiance provided by the reflective, aluminum surface of the ceiling fans.
To control this light in the Great Room, we installed a set of Solar Screen roll shades with 95% UV ray blockage while vertical blinds in the bedrooms added just the right ambiance for such a personal space. The result is a much more "green" friendly environment that reduces unwanted glare and cuts down on heat. As the finishing touch, stretch canvas paintings from the Z Gallery in Birmingham created the perfect repose for such tranquil scenery.
